Omega Strikers is a free-to-play action game for PC coming from developer Odyssey Interactive. It’s a team-based online PvP title based on the sport of football. In it, players will control characters with special abilities and attacks, and attempt to knock opponents off the arena to score goals.

In this game, you form teams of three and face others in a mini-football match of sorts. Choose from 15 Strikers to form your team, with each one with unique characteristics and skills they bring to the match. In addition, the maps themselves are designed with various traps and hazards to be wary of or utilize to your advantage to knock opponents off.
Another aspect to be aware of during matches is the presence of objects that you can pick up and use during matches to get an edge over opponents. They include slimes, blocks of tofu (yes, really), and rocket boosts. The game has in-app purchases that can help boost your play. It has eight characters to choose from, all of whom have different abilities and unique combos.
What’s new in Patch 3.2?
Omega Strikers’s newest Patch 3.2 brings a slew of improvements to enhance the gameplay experience. There are elements added to the mix, too, such as a new Striker named Mako, new skins Alpharad Rune, Dream Era, Nightmare Era, and Nightmare Vyce, and new creator templates. In addition, the location Taiko Temple has been introduced, bringing with it an Oni event that players can join to gain cool rewards.
As for the game’s map rotation system, Taiko Temple and Ai.Mi’s App have been rotated into the roster, while Night Market, Atlas’s Lab have been pulled out. All existing maps have an equal chance to roll in Ranked play. Meanwhile, enhancements to custom games are implemented, such as the creation and easier searching of lobbies, for more seamless gaming with friends. Finally, orb awakenings are temporarily removed and replaced by a handful of supportive ones.
A cool twist
If you’re a huge football game fan and are looking for something a little different to try out, Omega Strikers is an intriguing title worth considering with its unique twist to the formula. It’s basically battle football, and yes, it is as exciting as it sounds. There are eight characters in the game and even maps to choose where competitions are held.
